“Your Hands and Eyes Keep Us Alive” is a curated exhibit in collaboration with artists Clara Lynas, Kaya Joan, Cleopatria Peterson and Forest Van Winkle. Using Xpace’s zine library as an archive and catalyst through reading, interrogating and touching the work, each artist responds in their own way to create a collaborative experience. In these times of uncertainty, where touch is a current rarity, how can we interact with the intimacy of this ephemera? Each artist works to answer this in their own way through the use of wheatpasting, painting, and textile work, strengthening their connections to the craft of storytelling and the sharing of knowledge.

This exhibition was created during Xpace’s annual summer residency for recent OCAD U graduates.

Gallery visits by appointment only, as we are prioritizing the health + safety of visitors and staff at Xpace. Please visit the link in bio to read our FAQ, Terms & Conditions and to book a visit! We can’t wait to see you 🙂
