Angel is a Taiwanese-Canadian visual artist. Her mediums include social engagement, public intervention, drawing, and text-based practices. Whereas her socially engaged work reinvents or alters familiar social forms and public structures in order to create dialogues, her drawings reflect on the complexities of human relationships. She has facilitated letter-writing socials worldwide, telephone conversations about the economy between strangers, and a variety of public installations, such as miniature gardens on Toronto bike stands, a zine stand on Pender Island, BC, and a temporary portal for handwritten notes at Open Engagement Conference in Portland, OR.
