REGISTER HERE beginning at 10am, April 9

Participants are invited to bring a small trinket they find personally valuable, funny or special. Together, we will be exploring these objects and why we are attracted to them by building shrines for them. We will be exploring the context of the object, its history and origin, and our own experiences associated with the object to build the shrine. This can manifest in replica versions, stories, poetry, comics, collages, or illustrations of this object, which can all be part of the shrine. Participants will be able to take their pieces home.

This workshop is presented with the group exhibition, Recess, curated by Jaycee Tu.
