Xpace is pleased to present a workshop/ discussion with Maya Bedward, Information Services Coordinator at the Ontario Arts Council. This grant writing workshop will focus on the Skills and Career Development:Indigenous Arts Professionals and Arts Professionals of Colour program. Maya will lead an interactive discussion on the program’s eligibility requirements, the application process in Nova (OAC’s online grant application system), and peer assessment. She will also provide tips and tricks on how to write a successful grant application.
About the host:
Maya Bedward is an arts administrator, filmmaker and media arts educator from Ottawa, ON. She has worked at the Ontario Arts Council for over four years, and currently functions as OAC’s Information Services Coordinator, where she helps artists and arts professionals navigate OAC’s many funding programs.
