This is an introductory workshop for anyone interested in bookbinding. We will be creating a pamphlet stitch book with a manipulated form. Using traditional bookbinding tools, participants will learn to sew a book while experimenting with different applications and techniques to create a book that takes shape as a sculpture.
Materials are included. The workshop is free and open to anyone, but please RSVP to alicia@xpace.info to reserve your spot.

Eunice Luk is a Hong Kong native living and working in Toronto. She graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design University in 2012, receiving a Bachelor of Design and a Minor in Printmaking. Her drawings have been published by numerous publications including The New York Times and the 3×3 Illustration Annual. She has exhibited drawings, sculptures and installations, at the Howard Park Institute, Xpace and Narwhal Art Projects in Toronto. Eunice’s interest in printed matter impelled her to found the imprint, Fantasy Camp. Through Fantasy Camp, she has collaborated, produced and distributed artist books and multiples by Canadian and International Artists.
