Xpace operates on sacred land and home to many Indigenous nations, including the Huron-Wendat, Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nations, and the Métis Nation.

Tkaronto exists in connection to the One Dish, One Spoon Wampum belt peace treaty. The dish represents the land, and the spoon represents our responsibility in sharing its gifts and resources: in never taking more than what we need and passing on the spoon to whomever needs it the most. This treaty is still standing and it is our responsibility to uphold it, both as Indigenous and non-Indigenous settler folks.
