Portrait.co x The Pendulum Project present: ‘City Limits’ in conjunction with Foraged, ain’t free: a solo exhibition by Tau Lewis at Studio 223A.
Wednesday, October 19th, 7-9 PM at Xpace Cultural Centre
City Limits is a panel discussion exploring the role that the social and physical landscape of an urban area plays in exacerbating the disenfranchisement, social separation and oppression of black communities. Conversely, through this discussion we are also looking to highlight and expand upon the ways in which communities can be brought together and uplifted by conscious efforts to reverse these processes.
Panelists:
Karma Gheddai, Landscape & Urban Designer, Photographer and Cinematographer. UofT graduate with an M.A in Urban Design
Tau Lewis, Self-Taught Sculptor
Moderated by Sydney Allen Ash, founder of Portrait.co
