Central to the piece is the Ginkgo leafโ€”an ancient symbol of endurance, resilience, and longevityโ€”layered among botanical and human forms in a mirrored composition that evokes ritual and reflection. The halftone vinyl overlay adds a veil-like texture, distorting and filtering the image as a metaphor for the passage of time and the haziness of recollection. Like the Ginkgo itself, the work invites viewers to consider what endures, what fades, and how we are shaped by the impressions we leave behind.
