Filter>Blur>Average is an experimental visualization towards the ultimate abstraction of an image. Altered through the homogenization of all color-data within the frame, the image serves only its primary function: to remain as visually consumable information.
Ten images, gathered daily are posted to www.filterbluraverage.com, and
processed the next day then re-posted in their new form; the accumulating catalog of swatches have potential to create chance patterns and highlight the general palette of day’s set of images illuminating aspects of the originals.
