Arrangements explores the desire for decorating and creating artificial environments to simulate nature. Skrypnychenko uses materials disposed of after weddings and corporate events, found in the garbage, on the side of the road, and in decorative sections of department and convenience stores. These decorative materials are then rearranged with the hidden aspects uncovered, and in the process of trying to make them more ‘real’, the artificiality is exposed.
