If Times Get Tough or Even if They Don’t is an immersive installation project inspired by the preparedness movement, where survivalists work towards a goal of self sustainability and a lack of reliance on systems not within their direct control. Brad Tinmouth transforms XBASE into a site specific installation, allowing the viewer to participate in this lifestyle, through a functioning system of hyrdoponic gardening, drink distillation and food canning and mock-sleep accommodations.
