Born February of 1984, Morris Fox was educated at the School of Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montreal. His work deals with Humanity’s tumultuous relationship with history, myth making, the alienation of teenage dreams, the quiet devastation of growing up, and the tension between mythic progress and the decayed decadence of society on the edge of ruin. His paintings—vibrant washes of poured acrylic and glitter, create dream-like backdrops to pencil crayon figures that seemingly dance or float on the panels.
